So, worked roughly 40 minutes today. (Not including trying to compose a song and not getting far...)

Anyway, did some animations instead and a level complete screen.

So, having a little bit of a struggle, honestly.

I need to compose (retro-)music for my game sooner or later, but am pretty much blanking.

Honestly I play with the idea to use an older song, but haven't added any in my games so far. (except the pico stuff)

Still what I could really use are some tutorials/advice.

I know how to use trackers (like famitracker and others), but what I struggle with is the actual composition part.

Just winging it doesn't work.

After 4h of work today, all items are implemented. I gave moo two effects to visualize some states.

Also drew badges blueprints and made a goal sign, that marks the end of a map.

Before I put out a new demo, I want to get a few more things going.

Namely, level entry and level summarization stuff (how well you did in the level)

That would be all necessary stuff for levels themselves and I can concentrate on making a couple and other stuff around it

Did a very small amount of work, but important one.

Yesterday I saw that the floor tiles can be very straining on the eyes (due to jittering).
So I decided to redraw them and I like this more. It fits better and is less busy!

They are nice for calming, honestly.
A nice distraction and something to concentrate and let thoughts sort themselves out.

Also if you get started with pacifiers and get nearly instantly a dry mouth, that might be because that pacifier's teat is made out of silicone.

I had that issue and tried out a latex teat one. Problem solved.
Some dry mouth can happen still btw. But silicone teats often go instant for it and make me cough.

Currently I'm putting the user interface together (slowly)

Might show stuff later, but not sure.

Also adding some other little things, like score markers, for when you gain points

Did some more drawing, so have a animation of the User Interface and also some drawings of how the start and end might look.

Soooo, kinda got the realization that maybe having ADHD and having a hard time picking up RPs, might be connected???

Like, I don't like RPs that go over several sessions and prefer to have all in one shot and if we have to take a break, I prefer to start fresh.
Because having to pick things up is really pretty hard.

So babyfur group chat brought parental control as a way to feel little. I get it and it's valid, that's not the point.

The point is, that it made me realize something.

If someone did that to me, even in a 100% safe space, even if I trust them 110%, it would lead to me panicking and losing all trust to them immediately.
My parents used "protecting me" to hurt me over and over and over and the scars are too deep to heal.

To be honest, the biggest reason for me being little is: "I would just like a do-over of my childhood, because the first time was honestly crap"

Oh, also therapy update: I have a really good feeling with this therapist!
Also they are working on getting my indication together, so I can have HRT :D
But also really listens to /me/

First meeting with study therapist and it was pretty intense tbh.

But also good, because we touched some hard topics and it's good to just be listened and get the realization "it happened and it was bad"
