Anyone knows a veggie alternative, for ground meat, that has the following properties:
- usable in a very similar fashion (like for lasagna)
- similar taste/texture (because of above)
- cheap
- low effort
- easily accessible (most stores should have it)

@maxine I don't know about texture really, but here we now have several places that sell what looks pretty much exactly like ground meat, but plant based.

Taste is different of course, but with the right things like spices and such you can tune things a lot. I saw someone that made a plant based "meat" sauce that tasted the same but a little better.


@maxine this is unrelated but your post has made me remember I had a dream about a super good looking vegan food and woke up before I could taste it :(
