Currently debating on world creation.

Like I can (and like to) create an infinitely large world, but that requires a functional approach.

I'd also like to have biomes makes sense, but for that I can't use the functional approach (I'd need data from surrounding chunks, I don't want to have, because it's slow)

Latter would require a fixed map and step approach.

So probs going with the functional one.

Oh, now I found out there is a mechanism to make maps that wrap around the corners and this opens up new possibilities.

I hate this and love this, honestly.

Still not sure of I want to make it more "mine and build and do stuff" or more "build a community with the folks around you" game

First would be best in an infinitely large map.

Second would fit more with a finite map.
